Just two Eastside Chicks
Maria and Sandra became friends when they attended high school together at Sir Charles Tupper, sharing a love for theatre, fashion and crazy schemes. They have been big supporters of each other's theatrical pursuits over the years and were muitas excited to collaborate on this fun project with Maryth Gilroy directing and Michael Fera as directorial consultant.
With decades of theatre, film and tv experience between them, they partnered in 2016 to create
PORTUGUESE BUNS PRODUCTIONS. FESTA! was their first collaboration exploring the Portuguese vida! They are hard at work creating the first ever English language Portuguese sitcom - TIA MARIA'S CAFE.
LET'S GET THIS FESTA STARTED!
We are two sassy Portuguese chicks from East Van. We love theatre and are proud of our background so here we are...throwing it all together into a big bowl of rice pudding...yum! We are having a blast with this little show and invite you all to live the life Portuguesa!
